Secret Roles

Privacy policy.

Secret Roles is an offline role dealer for people sharing one iPhone or iPad. Secret Roles does not transmit anything entered or created during gameplay.

No third-party analytics.
Secret Roles contains no analytics or third-party crash-reporting SDKs. It does not send usage events, diagnostics, device information, network information, or identifiers to an analytics provider.
No advertising or tracking.
The app contains no advertising, ad-network SDK, advertising identifier, or tracking technology. It does not track anyone across apps, websites, or services.
No app data is sent to us or stored on our servers.
Secret Roles has no account system, login, backend, cloud sync, analytics service, or in-app network service. It does not transmit user or device data to Human Renaissance or to any third party, and no app data is stored on external servers. Its only outbound action is the privacy-policy link you choose to tap, which opens this published page in the system browser.
Player names stay on the device.
Players enter display names only so the app can assign and reveal roles on the shared device. The most recent roster is saved in the app’s local storage for the optional Use Last Players feature. Secret Roles does not transmit it, and it is not available to us. You can erase it at any time with Clear Saved Roster in the app’s Support & Privacy screen. Starting a new game replaces it, and deleting the app removes it.
No other personal or device data.
The app does not collect names as identity data, email addresses, birth dates, accounts, location, contacts, photos, audio, camera or microphone data, purchase history, IP addresses, device identifiers, or advertising identifiers. Roles and other current-game state are processed only on the device.
App Store privacy disclosure.
Secret Roles’ App Store privacy disclosure is Data Not Collected, and its privacy manifest declares no tracking and no collected data types.

Changes to this policy

If a future version changes these practices, we will update this policy and the App Store privacy disclosures before the new practice begins, and obtain any permission required by Apple or applicable law.
