This or That! Champion Chain
Privacy policy.
Last updated: August 9, 2026
This or That is a family party game for one iPhone or iPad. The playable game, local profiles, choices, and progress are designed to stay on that device.
- No developer analytics or tracking.
- This or That contains no advertising, analytics, third-party crash-reporting SDK, advertising identifier, or cross-app tracking technology. It does not send gameplay events, diagnostics, device information, or identifiers to Human Renaissance or an analytics provider.
- Profiles and progress stay local.
- Player display names, settings, choice history, favorites, custom cards, Vault items, badges, Daily progress, and unfinished games are saved only inside the app on the device. Human Renaissance cannot see or retrieve them.
- Backups are controlled by you.
- The app can create a JSON backup in its protected local storage and can open Apple’s share or document picker when you choose Export or Import. You choose the destination or source. The app does not automatically upload a backup or send a copy to Human Renaissance. Local backups may be included in an encrypted device or iCloud backup according to your Apple settings.
- Game Center is optional and handled by Apple.
- If you choose to sign in to Game Center or submit a Daily Challenge score, Apple processes the Game Center account, player identifier, display name, and submitted game result under Apple’s privacy policy. This or That uses those values only to show Game Center status and submit the action you requested. Human Renaissance does not receive or store a separate copy.
- Sharing and read aloud are user-directed.
- The Share button opens Apple’s share sheet with the text you chose to share; nothing is sent until you select a destination. Read Aloud uses Apple’s speech system on the device. The app does not record speech or use the microphone.
- No account, ads, purchases, or sensitive permissions.
- The app has no Human Renaissance account or login, advertising, in-app purchase, subscription, location access, contacts access, camera access, microphone access, or public user-content service. Deleting the app removes its local app data from the device, subject to any backup you separately kept.
App Store disclosure
Human Renaissance does not collect data from this app. Its App Store privacy disclosure is Data Not Collected, and its privacy manifest declares no tracking and no collected data types. Optional Apple services remain subject to Apple’s policies.
Changes to this policy
If a future version changes these practices, we will update this policy and the App Store privacy disclosure before the new practice begins, and obtain any permission required by Apple or applicable law.
